Who we are

The International Union for Peace and Security (IUPeace) is a non-profit making, independent structure, founded by a group of practitioners working in different International Organizations operating in the area of Peace and Security. With a common vision that, a world without violent conflict and insecurity is possible. The International Union for Peace and Security works with multiple international, regional, sub-regional, gouvernemental, and non-gouvernemental organizations and structures to achieve global peace and security. IUPeace also works with the civil society organizations in building local capacities to prevent and manage violent conflicts, build peace, and raise local communities  awarness about core principles of peacebuilding and state rebuild . we pursue our mission by linking analysis, research, publication, training and provide expertise with direct action to support inItiatives and projects in line with global Peace and Security.
