(DDR)

Overview
Disarmament, demobilization and reintegration (DDR) has become an integral part of post-conflict peace consolidation, featuring prominently in the mandates of peacekeeping operations over the last twenty years.
DDR activities are crucial components of both the initial stabilization of warn-torn societies as well as their long-term development the DDR Planning course enables the participants to effectively take part in the planning and preparation phase of a present or future DDR program. The course program is based on the United Nations Integrated Disarmament, Demobilisation and Reintegration Standards (IDDRS), as well as practitioners’ best practices.
Target Audience
Military, Police and civilian personnel working in, or ready to be deployed to missions or programmes were DDR activities or projects are involved or implemented, from the stratec to the tactical level.
